Soy wax burns up to 50% longer than paraffin wax. Soy wax burns cleaner, is biodegradable and non-toxic, emits no carcinogens, and produces little to no smoke. Soy wax is a renewable resource. Other wax, such as paraffin, is petroleum based!
Soy wax produces a great scent throw, hot or cold.
Paraffin is made of the slushy stuff in the bottom of the oil barrel, which is bleached after they have taken out what they want for fuel and tar manufacture. ‘They” being the massive oil conglomerates of the world. Support the farming industry instead by using Soy wax.
Soy wax is a completely natural and renewable resource. The soybeans produced to make the wax in our Scent Tarts are NOT genetically engineered. The wax is actually a type of vegetable oil! The soybeans are crushed to produce many things, and the extracted oil (which is actually a bi-product) is hydrogenated which changes the melting point and its composition so that it solidifies at room temperature.
It releases fragrances naturally and for longer.
